Title: Khmer New Year Celebration and Community Fair

Description: Planning is underway for the 10th annual Khmer New Year Celebration and Community Fair, to take place April 30, 2011 from 11am-5pm on the Lynn Commons Park. This celebration features live Khmer music and classical dance, Southeast Asian cuisine from local businesses, traditional games, and informational tables with representatives from local community health and social service agencies. The Khmer Cultural Planning Committee would like to invite you and your organization to be a part of this special occasion. Last year, approximately 700 community members joined us to celebrate the day-long event and we anticipate even more to attend this year.

Description: Offer resume building/tutoring/mentoring as a service? Just know how to do any of these things?

Join us as we work with Lenoxx Inc to help youth apply for summer jobs. Fill out resumes, work on cover letters, even help with job applications themselves! Templates will be provided. Let’s support Lynn youth and all the other great non-profit contributors!

Can’t stay for the whole time? Come for an hour or two- whatever time you can give will be greatly appreciated, and you’ll earn Time Dollars for attending!
